• Welcome to Sunstone Design

We are a Hampshire based architectural practice predominantly working in the South of England. We have developed a comprehensive range of skills to guide our clients through the process of design, planning and building.
  • Whether we are sketching a new design, discussing the proposal with the Conservation Officer, agreeing beam sizes with the structural engineer, setting out the position of the foundations with your builder or perhaps helping you choose a paint colour, we will always be on hand to provide the necessary advice. Please have a look at some of our projects and then contact us to talk through your ideas.

The government relaxed the planning rights for extending your home in 2014. The permitted development rights of a dwelling were changed to allow you to extend your property (if not on designated land) by up to 6m or 8m depending on whether your house is detached, semi detached or terraced.

For many houses this means that the ground floor area can be almost doubled in size!
